In the springtime, days are pleasantly warm and evenings may be chilly. Keep in mind, night time temperatures typically drop 30 degrees below the peak of the day.
Summer in Sedona is characterized by hot days and perfect evenings, making it an ideal recreational playground for camping, swimming,
hiking, mountain biking, shopping and whatever else your family desires.
Fall in Sedona is the prime season with clear blue skies, warm days and comfortable evenings. In fact, the fall is so pleasant, it seems like summer has been
extended to six or seven months long. Towards the end of fall, the leaves turn color and Oak Creek Canyon is host to brilliant beautiful hues.
Sedona’s mild winter lasts about 2 months. Occasionally a snow fall may dust the red rocks and what a beautiful sight it is…creating a contrast for outstanding photo opportunities. Be sure to take pictures in the morning since the snow is usually gone by noon….daytime temperatures are always above freezing.
