With a title like « Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, » it’s only natural that the « Doctor Strange » sequel would be a little off-the-wall.

Some parts of the 28th movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe are a little unclear because of the mind-bending, universe-jumping mechanics at work, while others are confounding mostly because the story’s moving too fast to stop and fully explain what’s going on.

The mechanics of Wanda’s turn to evil, the origin story of America Chavez, and the nature of the souls of the damned are just some of the things that go under-explained in this Marvel sequel. Hi and Happy Friday!

When the clock hits noon, its time to think about lunch! Who else find it hard to come up with a new recipe to make for lunch? Well, I got you!

Since I got sick I have just been resting and trying to nourish my body with all kinds of good stuff. The other day I made these delicious sandwiches that I wanted to share with you! All three are delicious and still SO good for you. Its important for me to create meals that are well balanced with healthy fibers, fats & proteins. Which one of the 3 do you think is your favorite?

I am finally starting to feel better so hopefully I can fly back home to L.A. soon!

Recipes:
Green Goddess Sandwich
Dressing:
–  ½ cup Greek yoghurt or plant based yoghurt
–  ½ avocado
–  Squeeze half lemon
–  Fresh herbs like coriander, mint, basil and parsley
–  Salt & pepper
– 1 garlic
 
Lettuce, pickles, avocado, hard boiled egg, sliced cucumber, water cress
 

Mushroom BBQ Sandwich
Dressing:
– 1/3  cup hummus
– ½ tsp salt & pepper 1 tbsp garlic powder, 1 tbsp paprika powder, pinch of chili powder, 1 tbsp maple syrup
 
– 1 onion, 2 tbp maple syrup and pinch of salt
– 2 cups of mushrooms
– Lettuce, pickles & tomato
 

Bahn mi Sandwich
Dressing:
– ¼ cup veganaise
– 1 tbsp siracha ( to taste)
 
– Sliced cucumber, grilled chicken or tofu, sliced carrots, pickled vegetables and jalapeno, ½ avocado with lime salt & pepper.

The European Commission plans to impose an ‘orderly’ end to its imports of Russian oil as part of sixth round of sanctions on Russia.

Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announcing Wednesday the EU would phase out deliveries of Russian Crude and Oil Products out by year’s end. It also wants to step up sanctions on the financial sector, disconnecting Russia’s biggest bank « Sber-bank » from the SWIFT payment system. The proposed measures will need approval from all 27 member states. Hungary and Slovakia have already said they’ll seek exemptions.

Europe and Russia are also sparring over gas imports: Moscow continues to demand that European companies pay in rubles instead of the euros and dollars called for in contracts. It’s cut off two countries — Bulgaria and Poland — for refusing to make ruble-payments. Neighboring countries are now coming to their aid. DW’s Jack Parrock visited the Bulgarian capital of Sofia.
